Critical Situation Management in Obstetric Anesthesia course - CESITECH Chalons-sur-saône Hospital

The Human Tree team, represented by Ludovic and Sebastien, participated for one day to the Critical Situation Management in Obstetric Anesthesia course, that took place at the CESITECH in Chalons-sur-saône Hospital. Throughout the day, Ludovic and Sebastien were given the opportunity to observe  medical team at work in high-demanding simulated situation and to spark fruitful discussion on Human Factors aspects, and especially on the theme of communication.

Many thanks to Dr. Stéphanie Javelier and Dr. Alexandre Benoist for their kindness and warm welcoming during that day.

Human Factors raising awareness - Healthcare Managers

The Human Tree team has the opportuynity to work with the incoming healthcare managers training at the Institut de Formation des Cadres en Santé (IFCS) in Rennes. During 6 sessions that take place between september 2019 and march 2020,  Sebastien and Ludovic met the 24 students in order to raise awareness of the Organisational and Human Factors of their future tasks.

Human Factors raising awareness - Simulation in Healthcare University Diploma

For the second year, the Human Tree team has the opportuynity to work for the students of the the Simulation in Healthcare University Diploma , co-organized by Rennes University and Rennes Pontchaillou Hospital. From september 2018 to April 2019, during 5 sessions, Sebastien and Ludovic met the 25 students, already healthcare workers, for Organisational and Human Factors raising awareness sessions.

Members of Flight Safety Foundation's European Advisory Committee

Sébastien and Ludovic join the Flight Safety Foundation's European Advisory Committee.

In this group,  they share their expertise in the production of viedoclip that aims to promote flight safety. These videoclips are available at: https://www.skybrary.aero/index.php/Solutions:SKYclips

they are also involved in the preparation of a flight safety forum, organised each year in the beginning of june in Brussel: the  Eurcocontrol Safety Forum.

The Human Tree attends the 6th Flight Safety Forum

On behalf of The Human Tree, Sebastien and Ludovic went to the Eurocontrol Headquaters in Brussel the 29th and 30th of May 2018, to attend to the 6th Safety Forum on the topic of safety behaviours. Sebastien and Ludovic explored the topic "Work as imagined Vs Work as done" by participating to the dedicated break-out session the second day.

These 2 days  have been an opportunity to meet, disuss and share different experiences with air transport sector workers and experts in France and Europe. Numerous contacts were established with the Safety Forum organising comitte and with the participants.

Ludovic et Sébastien attend to the 5th Annual Conference on the Risk in Nantes Central Hospital. The theme is: Integrate the change on care-takers/care-attenders  relation. Both participants are very enthusiastic by the topics addressed and the speakers. They are looking forward for the next year meeting!

Human Factors raising awareness session for ACPC Pilots

The Human Tree team continues his tour in the benefit of general avaiation pilots. This time, Sebastien and Ludovic landed at Cholet in the ACPC club-house for another Human Factors raising awareness session. On the aeroclub request, the training course lasted 2h30. A dozen pilot partipated enthusiastically to this event.

Meeting and Creation of the Medical HF Working Group

The Human Tree team has been invited by DR. Frederic MARTIN, one of the creator of GIFHM (Human Factors Working Group dedicated to the Medical World). Ludovic and Sebastien travelled to Paris in oreder to collaborate to this project. This first workgroup was an opportunity to meet all the people coming from different background and interested in this approach. Our team will continue to provide support and share his experience to make this great initiative a real success.

In the continuity of the sessions organized in Brittany, the Nantes Aeroclub ACLA welcomed Ludovic and Sebastien from The Human Tree in its clubhouse at Nantes Atlantique Airport. Despite the small number of participants, lively debates lasted for about 4 hours.

Around 25 pilots gathered in the ACRIV club house for a Human Factors raising awareness session for general aviation pilots. This training course, conducted by Sebastien and Ludovic in Rennes, lasted 4 hours and achieved great success among the participants.
